About the event

As the media spotlight continues to shine on the devastation created by the opioid crisis in America, people in recovery from substance use disorder are taking the reins of social enterprise to help drive the nation’s economic revitalization. The Kricker Innovation Hub will host a virtual speaker event on Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 5:30 PM to highlight this growing movement. Our panel of community leaders, advocates, and innovators will talk about the challenges and opportunities they have faced in their entrepreneurial journey through recovery.

Confirmed speakers for the event include: Eric Zimmer, an author and podcast host in Columbus, OH; John Evans, founder of RAW Addiction in Scioto County, OH; Jake Bradshaw, the Midwest Director of Business Development for Seacrest Recovery Center; Jesse Harless, best-selling author and founder of Entrepreneurs in Recovery; and Taryn Strong, co-founder of the She Recovers Foundation.

This dynamic event will feature a moderated panel discussion between our speakers, including Q&A from the audience and a time for individual networking between speakers and attendees. Please help spread the word and plan to join us in February!
