ICYMI❗️ NASA SBIR/STTR Phase I Submissions Open Now

Proposals due by 5:00p.m. EST on March 13, 2023.

The submission period is open for the annual NASA SBIR and STTR Phase I solicitations! The NASA SBIR/STTR program is seeking technology ideas for space and on Earth to address NASA’s wide-ranging goals. From health care to climate change, emergency response to space exploration, and more, explore the Focus Areas in Chapter 9 of the solicitations to discover how you can make an impact on NASA and the nation.

You can receive up to $1 million in funding during your first three years. Phase I SBIR and STTR awardees will receive up to $150,000 to establish the feasibility of their technology, while Phase II awards fund up to $850,000 to help awardees and their technologies reach infusion and/or commercialization.

Not sure how the NASA SBIR/STTR program works?

The recent “Dissecting the 2023 Phase I Solicitations webinar” is a great guide for those new to NASA SBIR/STTR or those who have been unsuccessful in previous submissions. You can find a recording on the NASA SBIR/STTR Program Events page.
